The Bahamas will be welcoming back some old cruise ship friends in June when Royal Caribbean International announced that beginning this June Nassau will be the home port for the beautiful Adventure of the Seas.
This is great news for the local economy in the Bahamas who have faced some mighty challenges that came along with the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Adventure of the Seas will do primarily Bahamas sailings with ports including CocoCay (Royal Caribbean’s private island), Grand Bahamas Island, and of course Nassau.
“We are proud to have worked and prepared diligently to safely welcome travelers back and are confident that our protocols, combined with the measures Royal Caribbean is implementing – including a requirement for all crew and guests to be fully vaccinated – will deliver an unforgettable vacation experience. In anticipation of the Royal Caribbean’s return to the islands,” said Bahamas Minister of Tourism & Aviation, the Hon. Dionisio D’Aguilar, “our destination is ready and waiting to resume its role as the region’s go-to place where travelers head to for escape and rejuvenation.”
